Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear, fair terms for billing and refunds. Please read them — they explain how subscriptions, cancellations and refunds are handled.

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations and refunds work for Astro Ratan, a digital Vedic-astrology service operated by Astrocorp Techlab Private Limited (“we”, “us”), Hyderabad, India. By subscribing, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service.

2. Free trial

Astro Ratan begins with a free trial — a set number of questions (20 in India, 50 internationally) or 7 days, whichever comes first. The trial questions themselves are free. To start on the website, a one-time token charge of ₹1 (or $0.10 internationally) verifies your payment method; on WhatsApp you can begin with no card at all. You are never charged a Premium subscription fee unless you actively choose a paid plan after the trial.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Premium is offered as a prepaid subscription for a fixed duration (for example 1 month, 6 months or 12 months). Payment is collected up front through our secure payment partner (Razorpay) on a hosted payment page — we never store your card or UPI details. Your access is activated as soon as the payment is confirmed.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime. Cancelling stops any future renewal — you will not be charged again. Your Premium access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account returns to the free tier. To cancel, message us on WhatsApp or email wecare@astrocorp.in.

5. Refunds on a digital service

Astro Ratan is a digital service delivered instantly, and readings are generated specifically for you. As a rule, fees already paid for an activated subscription period are non-refundable once you have started using the service for that period. The exceptions below always apply.

6. When we do refund

  • Duplicate or double charge for the same order — refunded in full.
  • You were charged but Premium was not activated due to a technical error on our side — refunded in full (or activated, as you prefer).
  • A failed transaction where money was debited but the order did not complete — reversed automatically by the payment provider, typically within 5–7 business days.
  • A clear billing error on our part — corrected and refunded.

7. How to request a refund

Email wecare@astrocorp.in (or message us on WhatsApp) with your registered phone number and the payment reference within 7 days of the charge. We review every request fairly and respond within 3 business days.

8. How approved refunds are paid

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once initiated, the amount typically reflects in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or UPI provider.
